Larmer Tree Festival

Report from site: lovely and sunny, looks to be more or less finished for the big bits of setup in the village bit, bogs and showers arriving still.

Lots of caravans, look to be identical, set up in the campervan field, perhaps for hire? But it is a big field, and still got plenty of space, I would guess the early arrivers will go for the nearest part to the entrance, although that is where the bogs are. Should still be space on Friday, even if it is going to be an extra 100 yds or so to get in to the festival.

Weather forecast improving too, now just chance of a shower on Thursday morning.

Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you this time, if you see a chap like this with three screaming kids in tow, you will know to beat a hasty retreat!

They certainly WON'T win any awards for customer relations after they dropped one of the liveliest Forums in Festival-land!!! They claimed it was because of a constant 'porn attack' - funny how other Festival Forums can manage - all bolloc#s, of course, they just didn't take to some pretty minor criticism of LT 2007!!

It's obvious that Larmer Tree AND End of the Road should have their own wider menued Forums - whether it's linked to e-fests or not - it WORKS for Wychwood, which is about the same size............

So, not too long to go now. Have stuck my name up on the liftshare site, no offers yet Have also looked at the bus timetables but can't seem to find a mention of the "thickthorn crossroads". Any more help out there for me?
