I've been told they've really had to up their game in the style, filming, graphics side of things after Misfits came out and every episode was beautiful. It'll be interesting to see if much changes.

Looking forward to it, can't beat a bit of mindless teen sex and violence.

Naw it's the same cast, plus a couple new people

Series 4

The fourth series began filming in July 2009 and concluded in November 2009. The series continues with the second generation of characters. It will consist of 8 episodes and is scheduled to begin airing on 28 January 2010. Georgia Henshaw will be starring as new character Lara, who will be JJ's girlfriend and who has a nine-month old baby.

Ben Evans will also appear as Sam, and Lily Davis-Broome as Candy. Confirmed guest stars for series four include Will Young as a school counsellor, Chris Addison as a "Cameronian" headmaster and Pauline Quirke as "quite a scary character" who is part of "an incident that involves everyone"

there are more likeable characters in the new cast aswell.

in the first one tony and michelle were c**ts and sid, cassie, jal and anwar were just boring. chris was the only good character.

the new cast has some good characters. i love JJ and pandora, naomi and the lesbian twin, and thomas.

I thought the new series was absolute pish. Really lacked the spark of the first two series and the magic between characters like Sid and Cassie.

But then again, I think that the writers seem to reinvent to suit a new generation of teenagers, and by reinventing it every 3/4 years they still manage to reach out to thier target audience, which has to be 16-20 year olds. I'm sure I'll hate this series as much as the last, as that wee cooke is a w*nker of the highest order. Then, when the 5th series starts, with a new cast, I'll hate it even more than the 3rd/4th.

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
