from what i can gather he disagreed with neil in the setanta thread which has been deleted. Neil was quite abusive (allegedly). Neil said he was dragging up old arguments which had been put to bed and Greeneyes said he stayed on topic.

A few people agree that neil was out of order in the thread and a few people are backing neil up though generally by saying he owns the site so can do what he likes. Rather than saying he was in the right. Its all very confusing

Anyway i'm still single! (craftily back on topic there i thought) <_<

back from krakow now. not much to report on this front, but still had a fantastic time <_< bonded with a girl over the fact we were both in love with other people and had a kiss and a bit of a spoon but nothing more than that.

and my ex sent me loads of messages and seems content to keep f**king with my head, and i may have put my foot in my mouth with regards to the other girl i had hopes for

ach well...freshers in a week and a bit

So I think and then have the thought and then assign the appropriate name to the thought and then say it?

Sorry if it's a bit process driven. I'm trying to work it out, and when it is I decide to call something a rose, or una rosa.

I've just finished it and apart from a slightly dodgy last paragraph i thoroughly enjoyed it. Its a Novel about a book called the End of Mr Y, which is supposedly cursed, there is only one copy in existence and the heroin is doing a PHD in thought experiments and part of this involves the fictional victorian author of the end of mr y. Anyway its a very interesting book which touches on some fairly whacky philosophy with a mix of physics and challenges the way we percieve time and space.

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
