Ah, it's been awhile, singles thread....

So I find myself happily partnered in a polyamorous relationship with a lovely American named Kate. Life is pretty good...

Anyways... I hope everyone around here is either happily single or happily not!

How's the weather on your side of the world?

I met this lovely girl tonight, wasn't really attracted to her, but then still got jealous when she pulled my mate. But we're gonna be awesome friends, i'm gonna be like her gay friend, but less gay.

Also, I got bitten by something on Thursday and now my leg has swelled up like a hippo dong

I had a bloody brilliant night last night...i went home alone but that was ok.

My mum took me out to the japanese last night (its my birthday next week but i'm away) and we just kept ordering from the sashimi and the tempura menu and it was amazing. Then we wandered down the road and met up with a few friends, (mum went home so as not to cramp my style  bless her) then we decided for some unknown reason that Reflex would be a good idea. But it turned out great as i met up with my mates stag do and had a laugh with them. It was sort of his unofficial stag night as they are going to do it properly today and i'm too female to be invited.

I did pull a couple of times but no-one i actually wanted to doink. :(

Believe me, I'm thinking about it. He's cleaning the house in an angry fashion, with lots of slamming and dramatic sighs and I'm on the computer slagging him off. Fun times!

    • New Overmono album is... just good for me. Had high hopes which were later dashed a bit after listening to some of the singles but they brought me back around enough to appreciate some very nice work in there. https://music.apple.com/ie/album/pure-devotion/1894298100
    • I don't really worry about headliners (unless there's a real possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime artist landing for it) but I'm starting to feel a bit cold on the names floating around bar Fontaines.  Harry Styles and Sam Fender, I can see the value and commercially speaking, they've earned it.  Sabrina Carpenter is obviously popular enough to do it - but after she's headlined everywhere else and done Coachella earlier this year, is it not just a bit predictable to follow what other festivals have done?
    • Bollocks to “safe” headliners, bollocks to the masses. Get interesting, get risky, challenge people.
    • The Cure would be a dream, I can definitely see them doing a second run of festivals they may have missed this year and they seem the definitive Latitude act  If they do festivals next year maybe The Strokes could be a shout? Im stunned either them or Kings of Leon haven't played yet This is a great shout for names, youre right that CMAT is taking a year out though - we're like to know more in the autumn when festivals start making announcements  The only other act I'd really love to see is Idles headline the tent
