This is going to sound pretty awful but i usually have a real problem saying no. I can fend a bloke off for a while but usually end up shagging him on 2nd or 3rd date. I feel bad about saying no.

Nope... Can't say I put in much effort though. Had a cold appear the day before leaving so didn't feel too attractive the first few days... and due to the nature of festivals (ie no washing etc.) I make it a rule not to make much of an effort on that front the last couple of days! ;)

Still had an awesome time though <_<

Done. Wouldn't qualify most of this thread as work safe though! I laughed out loud several times while reading particularly at Ralph accusing Rabid of being a paedo and the concept of Rape Thursdays <_<

Edit: Wow I wasted alot of time reading this thread!

Hmm i'm starting to think that being single is overrated. Bit of a u-turn, I know, but it was really nice briefly having someone who I liked and who seemed to like me. I'm not saying that i'm gonna actively look for a girlfriend, but if the right person comes along, i'm not gonna make staying single my priority.

Read through, Lithium!

I don't believe two people are meant to stay exclusively together. It's easier being on your own and it makes you HAVE to do things for yourself, rather than relying on another person to do it for you, which I think is a good thing. My dad always drives everywhere because he's useless at reading maps......if it wasn't for my mum doing all the map reading, my dad would have to have learnt how to do it.....my mum might also know how to put petrol in the car if my dad didn't drive all the time <_<

Blah that's poo. My mate who never has much luck with girls thought he was finally on to something and she arranged to meet him in a bar in town.....he went but returned within an hour saying he couldn't find her and her phone was turned off <_<

Erm... Maybe you should count your losses. If you're at a point where you don't know what the hel is going on and she's causing you stress and heartache by not telling what she wants or where you stand then you should get out of there before it gets worse.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
