tell ya what winds me up! girls at work dye there hair all sorts and boys are not allowed to add colour to there hair. i wanted red once but was told it is frowned upon!! bollox it is

My friend who cuts my hair (she is a hairdresser professionally) keeps trying to convince me to get purple or blue highlights in my hair. I've resisted so far cos I'm not sure how work would take it, but I'm tempted to do something for festival season.

Been debating getting it cut different as well. Any suggestions?

I dyed mine once using directions semi-permament stuff... Looked great when the dye was in, black with red tips. Went to wash it and it went bright green. Spent the first day of whitby goth weekend washing my hair, was not impresses.

semi permanent stuff is the worst, its like in wash in wash out. Even permanent is never aslong as it says on the box.

I'm not generally a fan of shaved heads but on some men they look lovely. Generally I prefer long hair on a guy.

Maybe it depends on the face/shape of head. But when Im out it seems to always be the shaved head guys Im drawn to ..maybe its a wierd psychological thing.

Although none of my boyfriends have had shaved heads..maybe I look to shaved heads when I want fun

£50 to get highlights?

I got my hair braided and that cost me about £35, and the lady who did it threw in a four pack of red-stripe. Although she was adamant that I didn't smoke what the erb.

I used to get my hair shaved all the time but now I think it looks a state on me. Then again I used to think 'curtains' were cool in the 90s!

i hate to say this but my haircut costs £50 whenever i get it done, which is once a month. plus i have to buy a pot of matt paste thats £18 so £68 throw in the tip £70 all in.

Tramlines and stupid designs shaved into heads are making a comeback at work. Funny how things come around time and again!
