. Season 13 so far has been lackluster, and "Fatbeard" is not the best episode to go out on. Hopefully when the series returns we'll get episodes with a bit more ambition. After all, "Imaginationland" and "Go, God. Go!" were fall episodes. All this is to say, while this season may have been a bit disappointing for some fans, it's far too early to pronounce the decline of South Park.

I think this season has been fantastic so far, up there with my favourite, season 10 if i remember right.

It's a bit mad to compare individual episodes with Imaginationland and Go God, Go cause they were three episode arcs weren't they? Plus I agree with CBC, they were really nothing special.

Imaginationland was good, certainly had it's moments. Maybe a little disappointing for a 3 episode arc. I like Go, God, Go though, i mean, why do we eat of wooden tables when we have perfectly goo tummies to eat off?

i like the new episode, but i was caught a little off guard when it ended, seemed like it had another half to go or something...

They're only contracted for 14 seasons anyway, so next one could be the last. They'll probably do another film when they stop doing the series to finish it all off i reckon.

Really can't complain about South Park. People saying it's shit now - count to ten, then you'll realise you've made a mistake, and then try again. Check out the rest of TV. South Park is gold comparred to the rest of that shit. Whether South Park takes a dive is irrelevant, a dive in South Park means it simply treads the line between "brilliant" and "eh that was OK". That's as bad as South Park has ever got.

But then again, the western world is slowly going mad now that frivelous spending is coming to a screeching halt, I'm not surprised people have started to get their perspectives all screwed up. Saying things like "South Park is bad" and "Chris Moyles is great!". Next we'll be getting dogs and cats living together.

Da f*ck!!!

the episode did end abruptly, that's my only criticism of the new season though, south park is one of the few cartoons that has managed to get funnier over time. I saw the movie over the weekend as well, still great as always, i do know a ridiculous amount of the script tho lol. Also, the go god go episodes were fantastic imo, garrison's version of evolution ;)

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
