Anyway, obviously the issue with EU relaxing carbon restrictions on its industries is old white men and the Germans and Chinese...despite everything actually written in the original article.

No one can stop climate change and it isn’t going to bring some idilic Mediterranean lifestyle. It’s going to bring unmanageable heat and eventually unbearable cold winters.

 

What net zero can do is slow the process and keep pollution levels down.

Literally the same offices with the same funding that drove the Brexit campaign are driving the "No to Net Zero" lobby in the UK. And the same lot where the Taxpayers Alliance and transphobia lot are.
