After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.
Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.
Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.
Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away
Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo
Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
