Hi. We are looking to park our campervan at the Bath & West Showground for the festival. I'm told there is a 24 hour shuttle bus between the festival and the showground.

Has anyone used this? Is it a reliable link and how frequently does it go and how long does it take? Any advice welcome! Is your festival ticket all you need to get on the shuttle or do you need to buy some other pass?

thanks Nick

Have never used it, as been in East previously, but it's just like a normal bus.

It's just for the glasto people anyway I believe, and you'd show your ticket to get into the actual festival when you get there.

I think it's a good few times every hour, so plenty of opportunities!!

I'm in the bath and West also this year (in my trailer tent) so see you there!!

Stayed in the B&W showground last time. From memory the buses were frequent enough (every 15 - 20 mins), maybe less so in the early hours. No one checked our wristbands/tickets getting on the bus either side. There were two pick up points though, one was the main drop off point for people getting a lift by car, so avoid that one on Wed/Thurs.

One plus point is, they have some porcelain toilets and decent showers which didn't take hours to queue for. I actually broke my festival shower virginity last time after a particularly heavy night, because there wasn't much of a wait.

Whilst the shuttle bus is not ideal, it's not the end of the world, just maybe plan to head in a bit earlier.

Aside from the toilet and showers plus points, access is easy, plus there is plenty of space and is well organised.
