Wife got Elton John tickets for Saturday 14th November however now rescheduled for the following year...great I thought! Contacted the hotel who are willing to reschedule for the following year but not refund but that's OK. Then find out that the tickets are for a Sunday. We work on the Monday for schools so cannot be off work and now in for a bum deal as not able to enjoy the event to the fullest. They have said to rebook for a different day however the only seats are unaffordable to us. We booked a Saturday for a reason and this seems totally unfair. Is there anything what can be done?

Looked and there all way out of our affordability. Maybe at a different venue could have been an option but hotel won't refund so a no go really apart from the prospect of a lame night. Any other ideas?

Did you get them through Ticketmaster? If you did then from what I know your options might sadly be pretty limited I'm afraid, they've been pretty shitty about their terms & conditions when it comes to date changes and cancellations/ refunds
