Might well do that/ Although, given that the weekend is already quite well served for slightly earnest female singer-songwriters, I might also be tempted to give Zulu Zulu a go.

Meanwhile, a mate is absolutely raving about how good Snapped Ankles were at Sea Change this weekend. Between that and Warmsucher - whose new album is a lot of fun, loads better than the first - I'm thinking the late night Tipi stuff might be the place to be this weekend, even before we know the surprise sets.

Did your mate comment on any others playing? Counted it up and there were 12 at Seachange who are playing at Eotr

Gwenno seems to be his other major recommendation. Boy Aooga were "decent if quite normal. Like early Arctic monkeys". Red River Dialect were "quite nice".

I've had recommendations from Seachage for Gwenno too (just listening again now) also, RRD, Penelope Isles, Daniel Blumberg, Hookworms of course and snapped ankles,

Definitely going to watch Gwenno.

Went to Green Man and that was great but EOTR just packs in so much good music there's pretty much something I want to see all day, every day.
