Buying tickets from abroad

Already worried about 2016! We are in America.

 

Ive read you can buy tickets from abroad using the same process, what are peoples experiences of this? Are we in the same queue as everyone else, or is it easier being abroad due to less traffic?

 

Anyone any ideas?

basically, it makes no difference at all. All IP traffic is treated equally.

 

What matters for being successful is not how long your page request takes to reach the servers, but what else is going on on those servers at the exact moment your page request arrives - does it have a spare slot via which to sell you a ticket, or are all available slots currently taken? It's the luck of that moment, that's all.

 

The difference in speed of arrival of your page requests from the states compared to from the UK is so tiny to be almost inconsequential. It might mean you end up making one less attempt at getting the sale page over the time the tickets are on sale, that's all.
