Car park queues

Normally I leave a bit earlier in the morning, traffic hasn't moved for about 20 minutes. Is this standard for the Monday, or signs of an issue up ahead? Maybe someone broken down on the tracks?

This point of the day I'd be expecting to spend a LOT longer than 20 minutes in a queue.

I was expecting a long slow queue, but didn't realise it would be engines switched off sunbathing next to the car.

Was still out partying at 3am

It's been two and a half hours at the purple car parks

Drove straight out of A at around 10. Really happy because we have a train to catch. Beats waiting in that same car park for 7 hours like last year.

Part of the reason it takes so long to get out is that the pedestrian exit cuts over the road out, so you have to keep stopping one type of traffic to let the other through.

 

Glasto in their infinite wisdom have refused thus far to build a bridge over it

They changed the pink car parks this year so they don't exit on to the a361 and you head along the local lanes which are all one way and stewarded up towards Wells. As a result we were straight out with no queue at 9am. Hopefully means it was quicker for those in orange and yellow too as they don't have to alternate traffic out. Seems like they are thinking about making the exit smoother. Hope those stuck on the east get out soon.

Left at 630 and drove straight out. Bit of traffic in Bristol but home in 5 hours compared to last years 13 hours when my car broke down.

Came right out at 7-8ish this morning very little traffic all the way, back home in Essex by 11:30 nice clear roads all the way.

Left at about 9am from Pink West 55. Took around 20 minutes of nice meandering through country lanes and a couple of 1 minute stops. Nice. Chilling. Cheers.

Left the Blue 9 car park not too long after 8, took almost an hour to get off site but after that the roads were empty. Big traffic jam on the A303 after the turn off to the A36, which thankfully was where we were turning off!
