Hi,

 

We have 20 more spaces for Glastonbury Festival to be on our crew for the Compost Toilets.

 

No, it's not as awful as it sounds - yes you will be cleaning the loos - but you will be cleaning the most awesome loos ever to hit a festival site. They don't stink. They look awesome. People respect them and they have such a great time going to the loo, they'll love you too!

 

The deal is:

 

Tues 23rd - Arrive 1pm to 5pm. 6pm induction and walk around

Wed 24th - Half shift, morning or afternoon

Thurs to Sun: 8 hours work per day, including 1 hour plus 2 x 15min breaks.

Monday - depart - you can stay on and do a half shift if you want to get meal tickets on this day

 

Two or three meals a day (it depends on the zone you work in).

Shifts are 6am to 3.30pm and 3pm to 12.30am. We also have some shifts 8pm to 5.30am in the party zones (Block 9, The Common, Arcadia).

 

Volunteers - get to nominate who they'd like to work with, put down a zone preference, pick a shift they don't want to work so they can see the band they way, swap shifts with others (if you can find someone that will swap with you!)

 

Camping is in the Crew campsite with hot showers right next to us.

 

We also have a limited number of paid positions. £60 a day. You don't get to choose shifts, you just have to work where and when we say! Same times and meals, camping etc.

TICKET DEPOSIT: Everyone needs to pay a ticket deposit, as unfortunately too many people have historically run out on their shifts and use volunteering as a way to get into the festival. So we have to take £250 or your passport as a guarantee. Talk to us about this if this will prevent you from being a crew member. You can email us at [email protected]
