Many, many years ago I was about to take a lease on an office for my (then) business. The office needed repainting before we moved in and I remember spending an evening with a mate, who was a graphic artist, sitting on the office floor getting very stoned as we looked at Dulux colour card and the amazing names they had dreamt up for colours. My favourite (name not colour) was Lizard.

Barnacle

A barnacle is a cirripede, a kind of crustacean. It is covered with hard plates of calcium carbonate, and lives stuck to hard surfaces.

There's no almost about it - only a couple of weeks ago my wife had to frog march out one of our mates because he'd over stayed his welcome. I may have to nickname him the barnacle from now on.
