ColdSideofthePillow
http://www.outdooraction.co.uk/tents-4-man-tents/gelert/gelert-rocky-4-tent-mars-red-2013-pd-6029.php for £40 this seems like a right bargain. Anyone got one? Would you recommend?
bexj
How many of you would be in it? My main concerns would be the 1500mm hh, which will keep you dry in rain, but not in torrential rain, and think due to height and small porch youd find it hard with any more than 2 people. Some reviews here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/p/Gelert-Rocky-4/1293
ColdSideofthePillow
It'll just be me Bex, 1 person
Brave Sir Robin
As with just about everything else Glastonbury related, Tort's FAQ has the essential info. He recommends 2000mm hh: http://www.glastoearth.com/the-faq/faq-part-
ColdSideofthePillow
Yeah I read that Robin, that appears to be the only downside

ColdSideofthePillow
I am leaning towards a lichfield apache 4, 2000 HH decently priced too! http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/p/Lichfield-Apache-4+/

That website link is for last year - I would check they are doing it there in2015 first. Tents they sell are very basic on site. You could try worthy view accommodation on sale tomorrow- pre-erected tents - but outside the fence and up a steep hill! Personally I would camp in main camping but if you have to travel light that is an option.

I'd definitely recommend them, very helpful, and the Highlander range of tents that they sell are good quality too. A friend bought one 5 years ago,and he's used it in some heavy downpours without issue. Not far from the John Peel stage this year,if my memory serves me . GoonerRob
If it helps, i had the Gelert Rocky 3 (the three man version of the one OP posted) for last year and it lasted fine. Easy to set up, no condensation and didnt get wet even when it pissed down! Only thing that annoyed me is having to crawl in and attempt to go get mud all over the porch / entrance when taking wellies off... for next year i shall add an awning to the outside so i can walk in and remove boots! Other than that, decent tent.
