I can't wait for next years festival season.

Did we finalise the meet location and day?

Wonder who will headline, must admit I am secretly hoping I will not like them as I would like to avoid the big stages and see bands on smaller stages.

I took a huge sacrifice last night when I got caught in lots of precipitation falling from the sky, no waterproof or brolly, was sat dripping in the vets with barney last night.

Just me and you sacrificing then!! How is Barney?

I sacrificed yesterday too - by walking in the forest just after the r*** had stopped. Boots soaked and me a bit damp due to dripping wet stuff coming aff the trees.

I'll let Slodge tell you the good news on the Barney front.

Well done to you too!

Firstly I apologise to everyone for being a grumpy sod over the last few days.

Barney is still with us, even tho we thought it was his time this week. Vet increased pain relief and gave him a really good examination, with the conclusion he still has a good quality of life and the pain can be controlled. So basically there is life in the old boy yet :)

I would like to publicly like to thank Matty for all his support over the last few days, without him I would of cracked up and been even more of a mess. I owe you more than money can buy.

I thought it was best to keep Barney's problems away from the forum so as not to bring the happy vibe down.

Love each and every one of you.

Shit.................... that has bought a tear to my eyes!

I was just being me but thanks for the words - immeasurably kind words.

Oh dear!!!

As for the game, a friend of a friend wraps sprouts in Ferero Rocher wrappers and gives them out for trick or treat....

Simon when you said things weren't great I had a feeling it was to do with Barney, but didn't want to message in case it was all a bit much. So relieved to hear he is ok!

You haven't been grumpy, you have been missed that's all.

Glad to have you back xx

Thank you lucy, it's nice to be back.

    • Good catch this. Used on the Main stage on Saturday like a really cheap alternative.   Cracking little day though. A few Belgian acts to start the day (Atomic Orchestra, Kids with Buns, Selah Sue), some UK/IE midsized bands to end the afternoon (Gurriers, Wunderhorse, Wet Leg) and then an evening of Deftones, Florence and Underworld.   Can’t wait to be there and (at least try to) make the most of it.
    • I would be surprised if they don't, given 2022 was the twentieth I imagine next year is going to be pushed as the 25th anniversary so having the most local big name artist possible headline seems natural. Maybe SFA are being saved for then too?
    • I’d be incredibly surprised if she was in the headline conversation at all. At best I could say a high Pyramid slot but I reckon maybe Other headliner against a rock act like Fender or even Other sub (where I have her in my predictions). I’d say Gracie Abrams is pulling similar if not better numbers to Tate and she was third down on the Other last year.
    • I dont think headliner. Other stage maybe
    • Sophie Williams (journalist and Mercury Prize judge) was on Huw Stephens' roundtable last week, said she'd love to see Overmono headline Green Man. Does feel like it's bound to happen. 2027 is surely on the cards seeing as they're about to release a new album
