I don't doubt that he's probably having more fun and is more satusfied with graeater experimentalism/experimentalisation, I think most artists would be, so fair play to him. It just doesn't sound good to me.

Oh I really liked Gloss Drop. But yeah, it does translate better live. They were superb live.

I saw them just after Mirrored came out, and then a bit before Gloss Drop was released (they played one song from it). They were excellent, but I don't think Gloss Drop is anywhere near as good on record as Mirrored.
