Did you ignore the second half of my post completely?

nope, I read it and I had no comment to make about it, around it, or in response to it.

I did however point out the foolishness of using an impression you have of someone you know almost nothing about as the basis to make such a certain statement.

Kanye would never do anything but headline. whenever he plays festivals, he headlines (and has done for years), plus the fact that Jay Z headlined (do you really think he'd take second billing to Jay Z?). i'll eat my own fist if he does anything but

And to you I'll also point out the foolishness of using an impression you have of someone you know almost nothing about as the basis to make such a certain statement.

...

if you know something i don't, then fair enough

I obviously do, yes. :)

Kanye, like any act, will do the shows he wants to do.

What he might want to do is not necessarily what you say he'll do, because you don't know him and what he thinks.

I get that you don't think he'll play lower than headline, and I get that you're basing that on what you've seen happen in the past.... but that says nothing of the choices he might make in the future.

Now, let's move on. :)

hmmm i'm intrigued by all of this being a massive Kanye fan but obviously i know you're not gonna give up anything more so i shan't ask. i still very much doubt that he'll be there unless he's headlining (i mean, he's headlining Wireless) but i guess we shall see (i actually kind of expect him to be at TITP…)

Look, I have no idea if Kanye is playing ot not. I'm not trying to tease you.

I'm simply saying that the certainty you have in him only headlining is misplaced. You cannot and do not know that he'd turn down every other lesser offer that might come his way,

He has a fair number of tickets available with him being a massive headline only act and all.

FFS , Elbow are popular, would make a good headliner but The Eagles are HUGE.They won't be doing anything except top of the bill, if they play at all.Even people who think they are an MOR band know most of their hits,

Eagles and Metallica and possibly Prince. There's three of the biggest acts in the world in terms of unit sales, popularity, audience attendance, etc. This fits in with Michael's previous announcements. I would be amazed if none of them appear. My money is on Eagles Saturday Pyramid, Metallica Friday or Sunday Other headliner and Prince in a special guest slot as I am sure negotiations are still in progress. I can't see Metallica up against The Eagles. That would be the worst clash in history.
