Ripped off by Alabama Black?

Hi all,

We were ripped off for Leeds festival tickets by a woman called Alabama Black (that's right, that's her name!), apparently from Wonderland Ranch near Preston. A charity for rescued animals. I just wondered if anyone else has been too?

We bought 6 "tickets" from her costing £155 each, totaling £930!! We found her through Gumtree, and paid through paypal. Luckily because we paid through Paypal, we are covered. We have now got our money back and have bought official tickets.

I think she was intending to rip us off from the start, and she never even had any tickets. She stayed in touch with us, but strung us along from the start.

She says she is based in Preston, but her Paypal address was in East Dulwich, London! When I asked her about this she just claimed it was a mistake.

The website she had for Wonderland ranch accepted charitable donations, but since this morning the website has gone!! Because she has refunded me, I can't really get her done for fraud, but maybe fraud with intent!? Especially if she is making out it's for a charity. God, she had it all, facebook, twitter, and Linkedin sites. Bitch! She must be a fraudster.

I know it was a stupid thing to do, but at least it's sorted now. I just wanted to see if anyone else was done over by her too?

Thanks
