Feral chile is female last time I checked and the puking up incident on the platform was a female copper. I guess she must have been a lesbian, just like all the other decent female coppers I've seen....

I did of course say "tends to". :)

There's always exceptions.

What drives how it works within the criminal justice system in regard to sexism which is constantly proven by research is that females are judged to be either "good" or "bad" (with no middle ground or nuances) and how an individual female is then treated is very heavily dependant on that judgement.

And of course whilst the old bill and criminal justice system as a generalisation is proven to be the most misogynist and sexist institution in the country, not everyone is affected as much as some are ... and those least likely to be affected are the females (tho as a minority their influence within the institution doesn't stretch very far).

C'mon ... it's not rocket science.

You guys really have had some shit experiences with the police?! They've always been alreet round here in my experience!

I puked up on a train station platform once and had a joke with a nearby copper about it.

Rolled a spliff at titp

You saying I was a bad girl?

Nope, i'm saying how the criminal justice system at all levels has been shown to work.

The "good" and "bad" doesn't necessarily operate in a clear-cut way for who are deemed 'good' and who are deemed 'bad', but what is very clear is that if deemed 'good' a woman is treated in a privileged manner (often against the spirit and wording of the law) while those deemed 'bad' suffer far harsher consequences than a male would for the same actions in the same circumstances.

Males are 'allowed' to be a bit dodgy; it's almost expected, and they get treated in a fairly rational manner because of it. Females are 'expected' to be whiter-than-white, so a 'good' woman involved in a crime stands a better than average chance of being let off because the incident is considered an aberration, whilst a 'bad' woman involved in a crime is truly evil and needs to suffer the harshest consequences the law can throw at them.

Having said all that it doesn't take a genius to work out why Kat's experiences have been positive (for me at least, as I've met her), even if Kat doesn't wish to recognise why herself.

The good thing about camping in staff area, by the way, is that it's a bit quieter and bear in mind some of your shifts might be at silly times so you might want to get your head down for some decent rest which is difficult with everyone partying around you. It's also a bit more secure and SGP really isn't that big a site. I camped the opposite end to my mates last year and the walk between the two was roughly 20 minutes (taking it easy). There are also better showers and toilets in crew camping (although when I say better that doesn't mean they are 'nice'!).

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
