Firstly: Where were the old long drops? Remember the ones with the wooden seats and silvery doors you had to walk up the steps to use, used to be great ones at the entrance to the park. These were much better than the green ones you saw everywhere this time.

Secondly: Where were all the sinks and soap? Last time there were sinks at (practically) every set of toilets with tons of soap. This year it was all (mainly empty) banks of hand sanitiser. Alcohol does not kill every bacteria as well as effective handwashing with soap and water.

I thought the composting toilets were great, but the ones at the edge of Pennards/stone circle didn't have any handwashing facilities or sanitiser at all. This is an outbreak waiting to happen (though judging by the state of most of the toilets everyone else in the festival already had explosive diarrhoea).

    • Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).
    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.

    • Jesse Malin was just fantastic at Union Chapel tonight.   now.. back to Le Mans...
    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!
