I was chatting to a steward who said the same thing, apparently knobheads had been mixing it with coke for the alcohol content.

If you can afford over £200 for a ticket, surely you could afford a few litres of Frosty Jacks rather than hand sanitiser.

Were talking to our neighbours and they mentioned they were camped next to a group in 2011 who ran out of booze so had a go at drinking the sanitizer.

People regularly drink hand sanitiser. My niece was in a London hospital and the dispensers were left empty because the patients at the nearby alcohol dependency clinic kept emptying them.

Desperate people do desperate things but agree that if you can stump up £200 for a ticket you wouldn't think you'd have to resort to drinking hand sanitiser.

My girlfriend knows one alcoholic who drank the contents of her Toilet Duck bottle when all the normal booze had gone at a party she held. I think drinking the hand sanitizer is moderate compared to that. I can't see why they would drink it though when you could probably scrounge a decent drink off someone at the festival if you asked enough people.

You'll notice in most hospitals now that the alcohol gel in hospital has been replaced with alcohol foam. This was a problem first noted in the prison service!
