Car Park Question

Recommended Posts

I have a quick question if anyone can help?

My car might not make it to Glastonbury this year as it’s not looking too healthy, my only other vehicle is a VW camper T225 as I was wondering if it would be a problem just taking that. I'm not going to be sleeping in it at all (maybe on Tuesday night if I go early) but its the only thing I have access to that can take all the people I have offered to bring with me.

Will I turned away because of its size or that they think I might be camping in it?

Like Whisty said, probably best to ask them... but I know for definite I saw at least 5 or 6 in the car parks when we were knocking about on the Tuesday night in 2011 and still there when we were leaving on the Monday.. dont see it being an issue if yer not kipping in it!

Can't imagine it'd be a problem, its still a means of transport and takes up the same width parking space as a car. If anything it'd be an advantage, you'll have the car park patrol probably checking on it quite regularly to make sure no one is staying in it!

    • I saw that the payment method is contactless wristbands - I understand you collect them at the festival site and can top them up there as well? Yes, there are top up points, keep the recepe if you want to withdraw the money in the end   How much does food and drink usually cost at the festival? We would like to know how much money we should prepare for the festival.
