Daysack / Backpack recommendations

I have always hated daysack / backpacks at Glastonbury, too many times have I had some one in front of me at one of the stages with a backpack on unaware (or with no regards) to the person behind them (even worse if they decide to jump up and down, I don't like the taste of rucksack xD ). But unable to beat them (well it just wouldn't be Glastonbury spirit would it ;) ) and coupled with the fact that I will be on the Worthy View camp site (the old MyHab site now run by the Eavii) and a long way from any supplies (although I might take a small tent to pennards for those nights when the hill is just too daunting), this year I am planning to get a small daysack. So has anyone got any recommendations on a good daysack and what size to get, I promise if I am in front of you I will use with due care and attention to those behind me :P

I would recommend something like that - something with an airflow system for the back. There are various brands that do it.

Sweaty back - not great!

I can undertand your point of view of getting in the way of your view. I'm 5'5" so for most people not a problem I keep my stash of beverages, a mini seat for when I'm not getting in peoples way and my camera gear...

I have a bag like this:

Takes up no space, light, the only thing that will be in anyone's way is what's inside it. Also pretty hard to steal from as it has no pockets. Not the most convenient as you have to rummage around a bit but I find it's perfectly suitable.

We're also staying at Worthy View this year, will be making good use of the lock-ups for a couple of chairs and a few bits of clothing (as it will of course be sweltering during the day but a little chilly at night ;))

These days I usually use an other the shoulder/courier type bag rather than a daysack as its less of a PITA in crowds and you don't have to take it off every time you want to get something out
