I'd quite like another official or two if anyone wants to help out here . Preferably with a decent grasp of the rules. That way we can have a pitchside official as a backup, and swap with the on pitch one when they get tired.

Right then! time to get back on this and see if we still have a game to play.

I could do with knowing if this has affected our players list. Hands up if you're not on the forums any more ;)

I have already mentioned to siblin, I am taking a back seat in this, as I have been becoming more and more involved again, and this was something I promised myself/family I wasn't going to do, now admittedly I enjoyed it and still do but I made a commitment and I have to withdraw as manager, I will still offer advice to siblin I'm just stepping a good habit back

Sorry for letting you all down

Based on how a conversation goes tomorrow evening you may have a silken footed, long haired sharpshooter and a man mountain with a forehead of steel (and a paunch full of cider) joining ROW.

I'm not really that wheezy, just a bit out of shape having not played football for a year or so, currently in training for some long bike rides so hopefully that has helped a touch! Ill keep an eye on the thread then, could be interesting!

Oh well I can definitely get out of an armchair, although camping chairs after a certain time in the day can be a struggle - yeah put me down, as long as there are subs and medics on hand I would be happy for a bit of a run around on a Thursday morning/afternoon!

Nice one that gives us an idea where we're heading! I'm sure I can handle the medical stuff as a start off, anyone who volunteers on here plus a few more I can press gang/bribe from the onsite team!

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
