Hmm not sure I'd agree about Friday, but it's still objectively speaking a very weak set of Other headliners in respect to recent years isn't it? Admittedly we've generally been spoilt with acts who are big enough to headline most festivals 2023: Wizkid - Lana Del Rey - Queens of the Stone Age 2022: Foals - Megan Thee Stallion - Pet Shop Boys 2019: Tame Impala - The Chemical Brothers - Christine and the Queens

He's got a label called Canoe that's well worth checking out on Bandcamp. Has also had a couple of releases on Correspondant which is owned by Jennifer Cardini. She often plays Glasto so would be another one to keep an eye out for. Don't know if either of these will be there but Kendal and Clint are of a similar vein. This is probably my favourite track he's released, although 'Happy highs' is also great:

Yes, Hamas want permanent ceasefire, Israel only offering temporary pause. Hard to see how this ends, but both sides will have to give in, there won't be any winners. I assume Hamas were hoping this would ignite a wider conflict with Hezbollah and/or Iran getting involved...and it nearly succeeded...but in the end has just meant the destruction of Gaza and so many lives. Meanwhile Netanyahu is just concerned about his own political future and has a govt full of extremist maniacs. It is all so tragic. Could hurt Biden in upcoming election too, significant Arab American population in some of the key states, and also a lot of the Democrat base may just stay home on election day. The US-Israel relationship needs to change.
