west campervan fields

Stayed there last year. Bit of a walk but no hills. Closest field to the gate didn't open till late on Thursday due to the mud but on the whole the site was good. Ideal for the Park area etc but for late night you would be best to stay on the East. enjoy!

Late night stuff is now changing.

While it was good for entering the late night area last time, I always found myself coming from my friend's campsite/a band, then going straight to the late night bit.

Which meant that I then had to double back to get back to the 'van which was a decent walk.

It really depends what your festival interests are and where you want to get to quickly but............... The east side CV fields cover a must vaster area than the west. The CV east side nearest gate (PGC) into the festival is no doubt closer to the heart of the festival than the west gate (PGE?). Having said that, because of the size of the east cv fields it may be a 20 minute walk to get to PGC from where your campervan is pitched.

So swings and roundabouts really. Hope that makes sense!
