I know there are about 150,000 tickets sold for Glasto,but what is the full amount of people at the festival.With all the staff,bands,entertainers,stall holders and corporate freebies?

It does feel like its a hell of a lot more than 150,000

How many extra Sunday ticket holders are there though? If they are part of the 177,000 it means there might "only" be 170k on site for the first four days of the fest.

The onsite capacity constantly fluctuates over the whole week with I think Saturday daytime/evening being the festivals closest period to legal capacity. But even nowadays the legal capacity could rise by a 1000 or two, ie the very brave (but silly and inconsiderate) hardcore fence jumpers, blaggers, smuggled in extra band roadies, parachutists, young girls mugged for their non existent tickets, security guards mates, pretend security gurads, pretend stewards etc, etc

But, throw extreme hot or cold weather into the mix and it's anyones guess.

The under 12s aren't counted.

There's an agreed number between Glasto and the council for the under 12s, and that number is accounted for (along with staff, performers, etc) between the number of tickets sold and the total licenced number of people allowed on site.

No I've no idea either, and I'm sure I've heard that some whole school classes take the opportunity to have a day out or two on the farm,with a paying adult or two.
