They had no choice but to leave yellow until the Friday, it was part of the license for using the field. And I was damn glad they did, it meant that us 3 day ticket holders actually had somewhere to go that wasn't a complete swamp when we arrived! But agree that they should have opened the others up.

The pissing issue was worse than ever, blokes were just pissing in the crowd onto people and all the blokes I saw doing this looked to be old enough to know better.

I don't understand the need for people to throw stuff either, bottles of piss whatever, I had a full plate of chips chucked at me and worse it was covered in ketchup, I just shrugged it off and it didn't bother me cus I had a waterproof on, but seriously someone must have bought it just to throw into the crowd, I mean fucks sake.

I stayed up late every night too and in campsite there was a lot of open spaces in blue cus a lot of people had fucked off after the first couple of nights and taken their tents and instead of pissing in open spaces, blokes were purposely going round pissing on peoples tents.

There was a group next to me a bloke and mrs in their 40's who had two teenage kids with them and their mates who were from 15 to 18 years old, when we camped up the bloke told us we cant camp there cus wanted the space, it was pissing down and I told him to fuck off it ain't his field my lot are camping there, they wanted to be in a circle but we took the right hand side and they had the left and just went down in a line, no problem, I went over to him after set up and apologised and he was a dick, I said look we all just wanted to get camped up just like you, he didn't like it cus I showed him up in front of the kids, all weekend he tried to act the big man in front of them.

Sunday, he made them all drink absolutely tons of booze, way more than I would drink, full bottles of Jager, cider, lager, vodka, rum etc. made them drink it. Then him and his mrs fucked off to bed, we were in the village and came back to find two of the lads going towards the village, we got to where they we were camp and one lad and one girl were out cold on the floor just left there, we tried to wake them but couldn't we got the oldest lad out of his tent to make the decision what should be done in regards to waking the dad or call someone as the dad had got them in this state, the two who had walked off came back and we said your mates were out cold on the floor and they said yeah we know and walked off laughing, I grabbed them and said don't you know how serious this is, if we hadn't came back they could have died, the girl could have been raped, you're fucking idiots, you should be looking after each other, the next day the dad got up and couldn't even look at us, his mrs though looked so guilty but not one of them thanked us for helping out, we spent 30 minutes with those kids getting them awake and sitting them up, sorting them out so they'd be ok.

It was people like that that are scum, those kids could've died and they couldn't even be bothered to care. The oldest lad thanked us, who was his son, and the young lad of 15 who was out cold, at festivals you're meant to look after each other, and I've usually seen this in tenfold, and there was some people like it this year, but it was more like 8 in 10 people were out for themself and themself only. Nasty atmosphere.

I think a lot of people had the same problem on Wednesday setting up. Rain and very little space didn't help, especially as they didn't open up white etc. We came into blue and managed to find a space around a few other tents to fit five 4men tents in, clearly some people were trying to save spots, however after working together we all managed to fit in and moved tents to accommodate people. We had to spend £45 on a gazebo for the 10 of us, which was rubbish by the way, it lasted around 19 hours before it split, the friday morning the group next to us moved a few tents around and we attached our gazebo to theirs, they were a pretty nice bunch, had a few beers with them when we joined together.

Saturday morning our gazebo had blew down again after a quick salvage job it was back up for the third time wit a bit of help from all. Sadly it had to be cut loose on Saturday night when the wind picked up again to save one of the 2 gazebos,, luckily the wether stayed nice from then on.

Unfortunatly a few of their tents got robbed from, I dunno why people do this, scumbags! I never leave anything to chance though and all my belongings are either in the locker or on me at all times and in the bottom of the sleeping bag at night. Lots of nice people but a minority of dicks.

Its the people who turn into animals who are the dickheads for me. On the Sunday we were chilling out at 2nd Stage and there were 4/5 lads and a girl in front of us. Absolutely out of their faces drunk. Two of them had marine tattoos. One of them was dressed in a red pvc nurse outfit. This was amusing.

They had with them one of those big 4/5 litre milk bottles and were taking it in turns to piss in it. Delightful. But I'd rather they pee in a bottle than on the floor! Though quite how they got that milk bottle through security I will never know!!

Anyway, one of them then decided as the bottle was full that he would empty it all over the floor. Obviously this travelled down the hill to a group of people who swiftly moved out of its way, then the guy in the nurse dress decided to run up and dive into the puddle of wee. I mean seriously, how disusting can you get? After this, one of his freinds also rolled about in the wee. We then moved.

There was a man to the right of us at main stage on the Saturday who was hit with a full cup of wee. it splashed my friend. Her face when she felt it and then said, "eww... it's warm"!? Eeeeurgh!

Also, my friend went into a portaloo on the Wednesday morning(!!!!!!) in which someone had wiped poop all over the walls.

Why do people do these things?

People who stand half way up the hill and moan whenever people pass them going to the front. Oh, you're all coming through are you? Yes we are. Now fuck off. :D

And cup w*nkers. "well it paid for my ticket and all my beers."

Why was everyone going around picking up cups ? did you get something for it ? I didn't bother trying to find out at the time because it seemed a bit pointless to be walking around picking up cups in the mud after paying £260 to be there.

One thing i was surprised about is the willingness of people to let you squeeze though to get in front of them, i'm an 18 year old lad who loves to mosh so when a pit opens up i love to get in there people where just like yeah mate sure, of course you gotta be polite about it to get anywhere. But normally everybody's just a bitch about it

I thought that this year was fairly Dickhead free. Except . . . . .

Metallica had finished, everyone who was not camping flocked back to their cars. Car park full of people walking around in the dark and mud etc, and the guy in the car behind me tries to overtake while going down a grass/mud hill. Mega Dickhead.

LOL :sarcastic: In hysterics about this thread!!! Good idea to pick on people who ruin our festival experiences!! So many people acting strange, especially when drunk/pissed people introduce you to someone who they've just met. Very awkward :/

    • No worries, it's a perfectly fair question to ask. I would expect people to be talking at the back & near the bars & that is where I would want them to be talking. If your group are enjoying yourselves & the music & briefly chatting to say how much you are loving a certain song etc, you would be an ideal group to stand behind.   My issue is with people having full blown conversations (usually unrelated what is on the stage) whilst being surrounded by people who are trying to listen to the music. This was happening in the middle and towards the front of all stages, & so you have limited options to move around & you may have spent 20 minutes waiting for the band trying to get the closest position that you can. If there's a group of 8 people, there may be 2 or 3 that like the band & the rest will start talking if the music isn't their thing. This may be the norm now for festivals, and if it is, that's ok & I will focus on a band's own gigs & UK based new music festivals.    I'm also not including consequences of my own decision making. I saw Geese on Wednesday so went to Occident after Men I Trust finished so it was understandable there would be chatting that far back. Similarly, getting to The XX after Olivia Rodrigo along with most of the site, I knew my chance of a good spot & a chat-free zone had gone so that was completely reasonable.   PS. I went to Bilbao BBK in 2023 & 2025 & enjoyed it. For Pulp & Kylie in 2025, I got a position early & was surrounded by a respectful & fun crowd for both. The UK non-headlining bands tend to go on the undercover 3rd stage, & most people like to congregate outside so you can usually get close to the front of that stage.
    • Interview on 6 music earlier, was going to get the album to have a listen, but comes out the day they play the festival
