I bought 24 550mlcans of Carlsberg from LIDL last Friday for £9.87.

They're stopping selling 500ml cans and doing 440ml instead, so they're selling them mega cheap, get them whilst you can as once they're gone they're gone, Ive been back and checked another branch and sold out.

I also bought a bottle of vodka to mix, but that wasn't on offer.

Sourz is on offer at £9 a 70cl bottle at Asda, was tempted, but decided again it

Aldi have some taurus dry cider 8 cans for £4 and 5.3%,(i'm not a big cider drinker but it tastes ok). we had some odds and sods of spirits laying about so i got some humbugs and made a concoction tastes ok plus a cheap bottle of vodka and 2 bags of Werthers originals tastes lovely. OH and a cheap bottle of aldi baileys(£4) brilliant last thing at night in coffee before bed.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
