Oh, also wanted to say that they're being very strict with under-18s this year - they have to have an adult (guardian) purchase their ticket and accompany them as there was so much naughty behaviour last year!

anyone else going to this? any idea what time it will finish on the Sunday? I fancy going for just the Sunday, but getting home afterwards might be tricky.

Went once in 2008 Mardy, and it was quite alright. Yes there was some youngsteres enjoying themselves, tent had a little coating of ketchup Sunday morning for instance, but kinda innocent fun overall. & some lovely bits to the fest, music, things going on, beer, it being a farm etc. I will be back one day, so if you're localish, be very grateful!

Finished about 8pm the Sunday when I was there, The Coral headlining. We toddled straight back, not hard to get out.

Good stuff there. Personally I tend to find festivals finishing too early. This one had an outside-of-festival stage where the late-nighters could go relax further. Gong played it one year more recently. If you like 70s hippieness.

Great little festival, really well organised, brilliant atmosphere, plenty to do. I was really impressed.

Chic were great, Dexys were amazing but fuck me, has there ever been a band as mediocre as the charlatans?
