I'll add this one, Rhythms of the World. Two day festival in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. It's been getting some bigger names recently. Last year had The Subways, this year has The Young Knives, Speech Debelle and the Damned. Only £10/day as well.

Check out The Unorthodox Paradox - "The Unorthodox Paradox takes place in the forest of Fell Foot Wood, Newby Bridge, in Cumbria from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd July 2012 and offers a weekend of diverse and eclectic music, from the calming & pastoral to the wildly psychedelic."

£50 a ticket for 3 days including camping, an amazing location, a great selection of bands, very 'cosy' (only 250 people on site), what's not to like?

I know that someone has already mentioned this but Stewarding IS a great way to get to your favourite festivals for free, but then I would say that because I'm co-ordinating the Steward team for Nova Festival!!

It’s a very exciting unique little festival at Bignor Park nr Pulborough, brought to you by producers of the original Big Chill.

I could give you some headliners such as Damien Hurst, Rankin, Doug Fishbone, TuNe-YaRdS, Ghost Poet, Jessie Ware, Zero 7 but Nova is so much more than that. It’s about the music, art, theatre, food, hot tubs, campfires, poetry, making stuff, not forgetting it’ll have its own pub. The current low-down and line-up can be found on the website.
