House Music

Having been over a few places in europe this year, I've found myself indulging in house music upon my returns. Maybe I am going through a mid life crisis, but none the less share your favourites.

Found myself at one bar playing loads of old school house with trumpets and everything, probably one of the best moments of my year - I just for the life of me find out what some of the tracks are.

My best comparison is the classic:

House music is such a HUGE term, it is impossible to pin it down to one or two trite "fave" tracks... thus the lack of (immediate) participation on this thread IMO. Asking people to pick a "house" track is as confusing and non-specific as asking them to suggest a "rock" track.

Nevertheless, I was 12 in 1989 and obv it was the first "genre" of music that I became geeky about - genuinely my first love.

Ive hundreds of faves. Impossible to narrow 'em down to be honest... we'd beat each other up about whether something was "house" or not.

The track I will always nominate as amongst the finest and most evocative is "Not Forgotten".

Cheers wooderson will have a peek at that list. I get where your coming from, it was basically a sound I heard abroad and have craved ever since and want MORE!
