Hi all

Going to Sziget for the first time this year. I'm meeting a friend over there and we want to go into the site together. We're not sure mobiles etc will be working properly so want to organise the best place to meet. Where do you think the best place would be? Is there just one public entrance into the festival and will we be able to meet there?

rlucas, I think there's only one entrance to collect tickets from; the one that goes over the bridge to the west of the island (the festival is on the most northern of the two in the Danube).

I'd arrange to meet at the railway station that's nearby (only a few minutes walk away)if you both have to get the train there.

Does anyone know if you can charge phones in the lockers, and if you can, what socket it is? Presumably it's Hungarian/European, USB or a car charger?

Sadly, you're probably right - I had hoped for a stage with a constant reggae vibe going on (so good for a chill out...), rather than a load of belly dance workshops - oh well!

this might be a silly question but are people taking wellies? Am I right in saying that there's a camping shop near the festival site?

Wellies are not needed, its mostly dry, when it does rain its normally an all mighty thunder storm but it drys up quickly and the organisers deal with it well.

I don't know of a camping shop nearby but there is a supermarket nearby plus there is plenty you can buy on site, I'm pretty sure I saw camping gear last year.

Hi only 2weeks to go.!!! I have booked a 5 day non camping ticket does anyone know if I can get my Wristband,festival card etc the day before ?(tues). So we are all ready to go the day the fest opens. Anyone else going by train this year ? cheers
