New confirmations: The Killers, Borgore, Crookers, Dirtyphonics, DJ Fresh, Dope D.O.D., High Contrast & MC Dynamite, Tiga, Azari & III, Modeselektor, Kakkmaddafakka, Lamb, Black Seeds, Wild Beasts, Amon Amarth, Flux Pavilion, Saint Etienne, Anti Flag and Gocoo

Very pleased with those. The Killers are headlining the Sunday it seems.

Hum, The Killers - will def be somewhere else when they're on! ;) Interested to see that Wild Beasts are playing, though - have been curious to see them for some time!

And I'm back... Busy times kept me off the forum for some time...

The Killers is not my favourite band to take a headliner spot, but I'm very happy with all the electronic acts that have been announced :preved:

Also, Gocoo is an absolute must-see for those who like percussion groups and those who just like to see something they don't see every day/festival.

I have to say I'm really disappointed so far with the line up and even more so that I didn't go with a few mates who went last summer. That line up in 2011 was always going to be very tough to beat, but they haven't even got close for me so far.

There is about 2-3 acts max that I would be certain to watch on the entire line up if I were there.......certainly not worth a 200 quid flight, 160 quid ticket plus spending money for me. Stone Roses being one of them and I'm watching them down the road from me in the summer at HP before the festival.

Optimus, BBK and others are in a different league so far regarding line up / value for money.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
