Weather is looking quite special, hope the remnants of Irene don't get too far south, plenty of water left for someone.

25 degrees day time temperatures look good, bit chilly at night if it stays clear, think a sleeping bag liner might be a good plan.

The BBC now have heavy rain for Sunday. It looks like the forecast is going in the wrong direction as Saturday will be cloudy according to them.

I am blaming my wife as she said how much she likes being inside a tent when its raining :angry:

Ya Met Office is saying rain for the area on Sunday as well. But think it's quite unreliable at this point. As we've seen the forecast has completely changed over the past week or so! I only usually look at the next two days for any sense of a reliable forecast and they both say sunny Though I'm definitely packing a poncho and some wellies!

After the miserable summer we've had I'll happily take one day of rain. Better if it's at the end of the weekend too as we'll have lovely dry grass to loaf about on for the bulk of the festival. Anyone remember when it pissed down on Friday evening a couple of years ago and buggered everything up for the duration. T'was quite surreal; clear blue skies all around apart from one huge black cloud that decided to park itself over Larmer for an hour.

OK - as of this morning most forecasts do seem in agreement that Sunday will be pretty cloudy with *chance* of rain.
