A sad day

Hi, I had a great festival, really met some nice people and made a lot of new friends. The only sad point for me was during Biffy the cans and other objects were being thrown. I was in the mosh pit and never again as I got hit by a missile and was being clobbered by those moshing. A young guy in front of me got a can hitting his face full on. I had never seen the throwing at GF before and wonder in ME wanting the festival to be open to all, which I do agree with, will end up with more of this behavior. Anyway besides that thank you to all who made my festival one of the best. Love you all. :D

None of that malarky on the smaller stages, get close to the front real easy, see quality bands with appreciative audiences. I have to mention at this point seeing Linda Lewis, her vocal ability still shines through even after all those years. A crowd of maybe max 200 (prolly an exaggeration) was sad but a great performance. I can't stress enough the quality to be found on the smaller stages.

Btw did you get to see Baka Beyond? for me I was too tired.

My mate stood up on a bench to dance to Common People and got loads of bottles chucked at her, finally something quite heavy which was probably a can hit her on the back of the head and really scared her. Luckily no blood was drawn but it really took the shine off seeing Pulp for her.

    • First thing I saw on socials today were people talking about Limp Bizkit spending most of their set dicking about, does not surprise me.
