Gas Bulbs

Having got a free pass on Sunday night from the misses to stay out late I was in the Stone Circle field early Monday morning and instead of hearing gentle sounds of a great weekend winding down all I could hear was the sound of people inhaling gas bulbs all over the place! Not only that they were leaving the little land mines everywhere. There were hundreds of them on the ground. Now I'm not against doing drugs or having a good time, I've done plenty of both, but this is a really low class,f**ked up way to enjoy yourself. It reminds me of petrol sniffing Aborigines out west in OZ but the main reason they do is cause they're board shitless. Don't know if I;m getting old or what but it really disgusted me. :(

I'm truely impressed that my neighbours, for the first three days, inhaled that gas, every five minutes, from 8am until about 4am. However they went very quiet after that and I didn't see them again. Part of me felt like I should check on them. The other gave me no sympathy.

As drugs go, that one can be pretty nasty if it goes wrong (which doing it that much is likely). It takes the oxygen out your brain, I don't see the appeal at all for a minute of a "wobbing" sound in your head!

Rough northerners have all the class. The well spoken were the most selfish. I was really pleased when I arrived to hear so many working class accents from across the land, they seemed less of a majority by Friday, but I still think we were well represented.

I think that nos usage peaked in '08/'09, this year it seemed to be much less than last year. My problem with nos is the constant noise and the mess that users leave behind, nothing more. I spent an hour or three on the hill above the park a couple of afternoons and a short spell at the stone circle and it really seems to be less of an issue than past years, I barely heard any back at camp in Dairy, day or night.

I can understand the OPs annoyance, but trust me when I say that this is a fad that will die off in the coming years.
