Picking up tickets ....where from?

See Tickets...wot b****cks.

I was tracking my tickets and was expecting them on the 10th June, they were sent to DX on 9th. On the 10th See Tix called them back in because they though there was not enough time to deliver them (dear God...how long do they need???). According to DX I now have to pick them up from the site. Also means I don't now have a car parking ticket.

Can anybody tell me where I pick up tickets from? (I usually enter at Gate C, my guess is that it will be near the coach station, so that means a long walk for me now....).

Tried See, but constantly engagd, no surprise there...

Sorry if a thread like this has been posted already, searched but couldnt see one.

See Tix...wot b*****cks...

Thanks, Fran

This may not be the case. I was in the same position as you DX sat on our tickets for a month and then yesterday they sent them back to SEE they had never tried to deliver them to us. Totally stressed out I rang SEE and they confirmed that they had recalled all tickets from DX on 10/6 and would be sending them out by recorded delivery via Royal Mail. So should get them by middle of next week YAY :)

I'm not sure where I've got this idea from, but I vaguely recall the ticket office being at the drop off point at the Bath and West Showground. Certainly, I remember the shuttle bus from Castle Cary stopping there in previous years.

But maybe I've got that completely wrong, so I would look for a more official answer than that...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. The same thing happened to our friends last year. We were taking two campervans andwere told by See to go to the campervand East and their tickets would be there.

We were going in on Tuesday afternoon, got to the gates and as they had no tickets they were turned away and told to drive to the opposite side of the site to collect their tickets and come back. We pulled over to one side on the field and waited and waited.

An hour later they called to say they'd got to the office and were told it didn;t open until the Wednesday, so we went in without them :-(

They had to find a campsite to stay in that night (nearest available one was Burnham), and then go back the next day. On the Wednesday by the time they queued at the ticket office, then drove back to East and Queued again it was mid afternoon before we finally met them ..... 24 hours later

The gate stewards were not a lot of use, so please make sure you know where you are going before hand and where you can collect your tickets from

Same is saying for ours on seetickets. I just hope they send them out via Royal Mail as suggested. I want my tickets before setting off on a 5 hour journey. Pigeon post would have been more effective!!

Oh, dear

Now I'm worried!!

You know how they sent me a ticket with someone else picture on it

So, when I emailed them, they reply was kind of like ....

'we don't believe you, we think you're pulling a fast one!'

'the picture is picked up from the registration, no way can the wrong picture get applied'

'email us picutres, Id, proof etc'

Anyway, I get in at gate A by national express

I really can't walk all the way around the outside of the grounds to anywhere else if I have to pick up my ticket

And, I don't really want to be queueing at a pick up place because it delays me getting to Pennards to get a pitch

I'm not one to complain ... but, that is so wrong!!!

I'd rather not have to queue up again just to get my ticket

I suppose you appealled to their good nature asking them to mail the ticket to you?

same thing has happened to me, Right name and address, wrong photo :( I have returned it to See and they have told me to go to Gate A to pick new one up!!! Im travelling up Tuesday evening with hubby and 4 kids, we normally go in Gate D, so Im hoping I can walk through Carparks to get to Gate A, whilst rest of family set up camp!

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
