Yup

The rumours are true tickets have sold very VERY poorly

Rock Radio website, who are a Download sponsor are now offering 5 night camping tickets for Download for £99.99 and £2.50 postage

GUTTED

Feel VERY ripped off, and it proves how few tickets they'll sold they've basically put them half price, this is a real offer, and its legit website

I do feel ripped off. Im surprised its not sold very well... but then again, Sonisphere got the Big 4 AND Slipknot... maybe thats more of a pull for ppl...

its more likely been pulled because people rightfully felt ripped off for being early adopters.

thats out of order, soni did it, but it was their first year. this is unacceptable IMHO. and caused in large part by the lame/irrelevant headliners copping booked. I'm not moaning about the bill, because i like the bill better than i thought, but headliners sell tickets

I'm annoyed but not a lot i can do about it really. My tickets already here anyway, which is important as if it didn't get to my house soon I'd be a bit ****ed as I'm living in Nottingham and i got the ticket delivered to my parents.

It's a nuisance sure but it just means I'll probably make this my last Download baring any incredible line up turnaround.

I think thats a little bit premature, if coppo got the foos and van halen next year I would be there in a heartbeat.

im not pissed off at the price drop, because i bought rip, and they arent affected.

Well I'm pretty pissed off... tbhwith the unremarkable lineups in recent years I may just not bother next year... Obv depends on the lineup but I could have gone to some much better euro fests this year

I think its just a bit trial and error. Lucky if you waited and unlucky if you didnt. Not too bothered. People are getting leeds tickets off viagogo etc cheaper now and I paid 187 in pre-sale last year. Shit happens really.

Its probably the only decent download lineup I would go to as I'm not as a rule a huge heavy music fan but we wanted to do it. Soni has a better lineup arguebly but I saw a lot of them at Leeds last year

    • Given the assumptions and little bits around Madonna, that BST and Paris post is probably right (few weeks later than the original post).   Just adds to the speculation that - they thought they had Madonna, and now they don't.   I can see what's gonna happen here - they end up booking Oasis and Fontaines for 2028. I don't get a ticket, and have to get out of the country + delete all socials.   That would end me if it happened and I wasn't there.
    • Looking at other Superstruct festivals this year, The Prodigy haven’t played Tramlines yet, and it’s been a while since Two Door Cinema Club have.   Those two seem likely headliners on how they tend to rotate bands.   Fontaines DC would be incredible but possibly a little too big now, Geese are having a good rise, would be great as a newer band to headline
    • Automated sessions and BOTs dont sleep.
    • I’ve secured tickets once since 2007. I’ve done 11 festivals in that time.  Thankfully I have friends with better luck!
