123ginge,

Absolutely - the more instruments we get the better! (as long as you're in tune)... It's definitely important to ensure you play the right notes at the right time though - we're aiming to get it exactly as Elbow play it (with help from a rather talented violinist) so work it out and go for it! (out of interest - what instrument are you bringing, or is that a secret?!)

unsure what ukslim is talking about - There's no issue bringing instruments into Glasto - Last year they even had pianos dotted around for anyone to play..

Ian

PS - thanks to all who have "liked" so far - it's looking really good for a high turnout! Keep an eye on the facebook page for more updates and tips on getting the music right, coming soon

I'm vaguely in agreement with you. I've argued strongly with a friend who's fairly into it all. He took part in these flash London Tube parties, where a they'd all bundle into a carriage with a PA and some lights, wearing rave clothes. He just didn't understand when I asked, what about the poor guy who's tired after a day at work, and just wants to get home without any invasions to his peace.

This thing, at the stone circle. If it's done slickly, it'll be a fun enough 3 minutes for many of those who aren't expecting it. And those who don't enjoy it -- well, it'll be over very soon.

If it's a shambles, it'll be really quite funny to watch.

Either way, I bear it no ill will.
