Killers at hard rock calling - Park guests?

Killers are headlining Hard Rock Calling in London on the Glasto Friday....Any chance of a park special guest slot on Staurday???????

No way. Far too much mainstream appeal for such a small arena.

Not going to happen.

I know the special guests are generally a bigger act than the park could cope with, hence the relative secrecy, but the Killers are a former headliner at Glasto.

Last year it was Biffy Clyro and the year before the Dead Weathers. Could see someone like Franz Ferdinand, We Are Scientists, the Courteeners. It will be a band at that sort of level. If they were on the line-up, they'd probably be on the Other stage about tea time.

Hopefully not, I'm hoping for someone good, especially on the Friday.

I doubt it though, it won't be broadcast on TV so won't do much for their promotions or sales, can't see them agreeing to that

I doubt it. Two reasons....

1. Killers are a late fill-in for HRC. I believe that they were hoping on Prince, who must have let them down. They obviously needed a big act, so I guess they threw so much money at The Killers that they couldn't refuse. They don't have any other gigs this summer, because Brandon is doing solo sets.

2. info I had said that Brandon wasn't doing Glastonbury - so I doubt The Killers would either.
