Right loads of topics about food/food stalls.

I've heard somewhere that theres a for a better word 'shop' on or near the CV field(s).

This, I was led to believe sold uncooked meats, eggs, and other such foods that you can cook at your camper/trailer tent/tent.

Is this the case?

Theres plenty of '24hour shops' around the market place, kind of like a mini supermarket only everything is behind the counter - one or two have a big fridge selling milk eggs and bacon. Usually twice the price of Tescos though ! but handy in an emergency.

In short no, there's no stalls selling uncooked food in the CV fields, however saying that I have been lucky in the past grabbing a few eggs from the very few fastfood stalls, but meat no. In fact I can't think of anywhwere even within the festival selling fresh meat, eggs, milk, bread yes, meat no.

But I'm willing to learn so bring the info on!

I'm almost certain that you can buy prepacked bacon and packs of eggs at the 24 hour shops because I noticed them on sale. Mind you I'm a massive stoner and may have dreamt it.

If you wrap your frozen stuff in a space blanket and then wrap that in a few carrier bags it should assist in keeping stuff fresh longer (last year we took some posh sausages with some frozen water bottles and wrapped it all like that, was perfectly freash and chilled Thurs afternoon and made for a great bbq despite being packed Tues night and having spent a day and a half in a baking hot tent. Beers that were packed around it were also still chilled on Friday evening (sadly they didn't last longer than that)
