ok so i gave in to temptation and preordered myself an xperia play, however i have never had a smart phone or any sort of top end phone. what are the best apps and stuff i should download, any cool stuff people know of would be nice, any good games out there... if button mapping was available that would be a bonus as probably not many games will be programmed for the device yet... am i right in thinking emulators are compatible with android?

and before anyone criticizes my phone choice, i am a lifelong sony fanboy, any other device wouldn't have sat well with me if this was out... ive never had an interest in top of the range phones and always went for cheaper models until this, i'm not really bothered if iphone or whatever may be technically better... just putting that out there ;)

the iphone app thread also mentions polenty of android apps, many apps are available on both platforms anyway. the current edition of T3 mag has an "app special" in it, which is worth a look.

no problem with someone wanting x phone over y phone, I do worry when people buy a completely new phone without having even seen a review. the promises dont always translate into reality I'm afraid.
