Further to last year's Skittles experiment, can anyone suggest a sweet / vodka ratio for boiled sweets (aka, Werthers, Fox's Glacier Mints, pineapple chunks, generic boiled sweets etc) please!

Im trying out some fruit vodkas for this year, but I am thinking about doing a wham bar vodka, this is a question for whamka makers - how many wham bars would you use? Would you just put them in the vodka, and leave them? Any tips would be great.

Thank you

I'm knocking up a few vodka's for Marillion Weekend in a couple of weeks - decided to go with boiled sweets instead and they are so much easier than Skittles! The sherbet lemons dissolved in just a couple of days and taste superb! Going for some rhubarb & custard and Werthers too, then to start on the Glastonbury batch. I was also wondering about whether to do some rum or gin instead of vodka, any suggestions?

I have only ever tried Skitles Vodka, and it wasn't very good either. I'm not a Vodka fan tbh, I only drink it if I can only taste a small amount of vodka, otherwise it makes me feel queasy.

Now Whisky is another matter!

Im gna try this for the first time! Sherbet lemons/ Cherry Drops and Glacier mints separately. Does it matter about vodka quality or should i just get the cheapest? and how many grams of sweets per 70cl bottle? Going to make 3 separate vodka mixes out of 2 bottle i thing so roughly 50cl each.
