kev1664
Just tried to log on to Leeds festival website and the new site coming soon page was up. I read that this year they might be releasing the line-up and tickets early beacuse the olympic 2012 tickets are due to go on sale the date of the usual announcement. How much earlier do you reckon it will be? Do you think with the increase in capacity size of both the Reading & Leeds sites will mean any changes to the festivals like an outdoor second stage, additional smaller stage (i.e dance & lock up)or the BBC introducing being put into a tent? Or do you just think they will try to cram a bigger amount of people into the same amount of space? I still think the festival (Leeds) could have a bit more to offer after hours and for the early entries Wed & Thursday nights. The countdown is nearly here. What are you expecting from 2011? mrtourette
I think they'll just cram more people into the same space. They've made a few layout changes at Reading over the last few years and I like the layout now, especially around the NME tent, I don't think they need to try and fit another stage into the arena. Leyser
Good news, just checked the Reading one as well. Well good time to get the ball rolling, I hear Olympics tickets are on sale March 15 so hopefully the line up announcement is before that. Unfortunately I doubt that
VCK
When is it they usually change the websites? I'm sure it's not until March? Interesting...

Role Model
Yeah I think the website change doesn't happen this early usually, hopefully that's a good sign that we might find stuff out just a little bit sooner than normal. kev1664
Just checked the news archive from the official 2010 site and the first entry was 13th March 2010
shinobi93
This means nothing really. Look at the transition between 2009 to 2010, you'll notice that the website was 'being built' earlier than this and we still waited until 29th March for the announcement. VCK
Yeah, naturally it would be in the process of being built at the start of the year. But IIRC it didn't go up until March-ish, correct me if I'm wrong though.
eFestivals
Good news, just checked the Reading one as well. Well good time to get the ball rolling, I hear Olympics tickets are on sale March 15 so hopefully the line up announcement is before that. Unfortunately I doubt that the Reading/Leeds press office know nothing about the announcement date moving because of the date the Olympics tickets go on sale. Leyser
Hmm fair enough, guess it was just another rumor
