why new registrations ?

dont know if theres a thread on this ? but why have they re opened it when so many people failed and took the trouble to sit for 4 1/2 hours in front of a computer. theres enough waiting for a resale without taking more people on :angry:

Agreed totally. theres already 600,000 odd people still wanting tickets so not really fair that poeple who couldn't be bothered to register for T Day get a chance on the resales.

why do you think that any resale of tickets should only be available to those who registered before Sunday?

Why do you think you have more right to a ticket than anyone else?

Guys I'm as gutted as the next person about not having a ticket but Glastonbury is not meritocracy, nor should it be a closed shop. I'm sure there is a very compelling argument to say that virgins should have priority. Although as someone that is into double figures I'm not going to make it.

I actually think it may have something to do with those folks who have registered and its not worked for whatever reason. Yes its crap thats happened to them, but at least they have a chance to get their registration sorted and try again.

Just a thought.

Registration is open year round these days...it only gets suspended when there's a sale. No reason for this to change, from the festival's point of view, why on earth wuld they want to limit the number of people who could poteantially buy a ticket?...

Quite a few celebs will be expecting freebies , but if there mojo has gone down so to speak , they

will be refused a golden wristband. They will not want to be left out so will have to register and suffer and pay full price with the rest of us.
