Staying out late

Hey Guys,

I'm usually really uptight about going to sleep at Glasto and staight after the headliner finishes I wonder around a bit then go straight back to the tent because I am absolutely shattered- But at the weekend I discovered the delights of Red Bull and managed to stay up one night till way past 5AM without even a hint of tiredness. Because it's the fallow year next year I would really like next years Glasto to go out with a bang and be really memorable (not that my last 3 Glasto's have not been already) me and my mate have already decided that one night, probably on the Saturday we will be hitting up Bez's Acid House because i've heard from on here that it's absolutely mental and it sounds like a great night/early morning.

But I was just wandering what other things there are to do in the evening other than Shangri-La and more specifically what there is to do on the Wednesday evening without going to the Stone Circle, obviously the stone circle sounds like an absoltely fantastic and unforgettable experience but I do need some sleep and would like to spend the Thursday daytime without feeling like hell and we'll probably go to the sunset anyway.

block 9 is supposed to be amazing. i went for a look around but never went at night when there was stuff happening. i'm definitely going to one of the clubs there next year.

i don't think there's anything happening on the wednesday, is there? maybe some stuff in the park.. it's nice having a night where you can make your own entertainment anyway, before it all kicks off on thursday.

I'm planning on having alot more late nights next year, I felt exhausted this year as it was our first time there so we wanted to see as much as we could and felt drained by night time. Next year I want to spend alot more time in the late night areas.

I think this year an awful lot of people actually turned in early cos they were all so fecking knackered after the mission entry then overdoing it with the footy, the sun and too much drink WITH the sun. That light cloud cover until well after 9am on Thursday morning was a Glastowide collective godsend I can tell you! Got the batteries perfectly set up to face the rest of the festival head on and on it with my usual only need 3 hours sleep per morning to get by for the rest of the fest! I reckon I had no more than 10 hours sleep between Thursday evening and leaving on Monday!

Sleep is for the weak!!! Or if you are going to sleep, do it in the daytime whilst relaxing at West Holts or the Pyramid with friends who can kick you when its time to move on.

I stayed up past 4-5am everynight I think. At least 3:30. I don't realy feel knackered but then the line up wasn't like 'ahhhh god need to get to that band' for me so I can relax it off.
